What is IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 Safety Standard

In the continuous updating and development of Audio/Visual and I.T.E. product safety standards, the quality requirements for power supply are also increasing. The new IEC/EN/UL 62368 standard is a safety standard that introduces hazard-based safety protection principles, It will completely replace the original IEC/EN/UL 60065 (Audio/Video Standard) and IEC/EN/UL 60950–1 (Information Technology I.T.E. Standard) on December 20, 2020. This new standard applies to a broad range of high-tech products and offers greater flexibility in product design, making it easier for the introduction of new technology. In order to avoid the certification troubles and high cost caused by the replacement of the standard, ZhenHuan has announced that it has upgraded the most of AC-DC power supply to the new IEC/EN/UL 62368 standard. The new (or amended) standard has the same scope as the superseded standard, IEC 62368 standard will apply not only to the end system, but also to components such as ac-dc power adapter.
